• Log in to CashCowUK.com
  

• Under the Listing Queue menu, click ‘Storefront Subscription'.

• Select appropriate Subscription Choice – 3 months then click the ‘Next' button.

• At this point you can 'Edit' or 'Delete' your subscription choice, or if you are happy with it, click the ‘Ive Finished – Now List It' button.

• Click the ‘My Account' button to go back to your account home page.

• At the bottom of the ‘My Account' menu, you will notice two new options, ‘My Storefront' and ‘Storefront Control Panel'.

• Clicking on the ‘My Storefront' link will launch your new store. If you already have classified or auction listings on CashCowUK.com, they will appear in your store.
  If you have yet to list any ads, you will still see your store, but there will be no listings, which means its time to get busy.

• Clicking on the ‘Storefront Control Panel' link lets you turn the store ON or OFF. This determines whether your store is visible to potential buyers or not.
  ('OFF' is great when you are still adding stock to your storefront, you can add items and preview, but they are not browsers until you are ready, then just switch it 'ON').

• Your ‘Storefront Control Panel' also enables you to ‘Preview' your store. Clicking the ‘Preview' link opens your store, so you can see how it will look.

• There are three additional links – Pages, Newsletter and Customise
  

• In this section you start to build your own list of ‘Categories' and ‘Other Pages'.

• Having your own listing categories lets you place your classifieds and auctions exactly how you want them to be listed, and not how CashCowUK.com thinks they should be listed. A really good way to personalise your site and design it how you like it .
  

• You have two options here - Home Category Name' & ‘Add New Category'.

• ‘Home Category Name' is the name of the page visitors to your store will see first, so you could call it something like, ‘All My Items'. This is the first listing under the ‘Categories' menu list of your store. Try it, and click on the ‘Preview' button to see how your store is taking shape.

• Add New Category – is exactly that! This is where you really start putting your own stamp on your store, by adding your own category list for your classifeds and auctions. Again, type in a category name and try it by clicking on the ‘Preview' button to see how your store now looks. By doing this, you will very quickly get the feel for it.
  

• This option allows you to add additional pages such as About Us, Terms & Conditions, Returns & Shipping Policy, in-fact, anything you like which is relevant to your store. You can add as many additional pages as you need. Click ‘Save'.

• Once you have saved, you will see two additional boxes appear – 'Edit Categories' & 'Edit Other Pages'. In these sections you can Edit, Delete and reposition your pages, ensuring you are entirely happy with your stores layout. As always, try it, then click on the ‘Preview' link and see what happens…
  

• Back to the top of the ‘Storefront Control Panel', now click on ‘Newsletter'. Here you can offer visitors to your site the option to ‘subscribe' to receive newsletters about your store and your offers and services. A great way to keep in touch with your customers, get repeat business and ultimately increase sales. No bad thing… All you do to enable this, is set the option to 'YES' in the drop down list next to ‘Allow New Newsletter Subscriptions'. That's it. Now all that remains is to click the ‘SAVE' button .

• Then when you have a number of subscribers, you simply come back to this page, and fill in the ‘Send A Newsletter' section, with a message ‘Subject' and ‘Body' (the message itself…). Remember, you can easily format the look and layout of your message using the format area at the bottom of the ‘Body' section.

• When you are ready, click ‘SEND'. Your email will now wing its way to all of your subscribers. As easy as that…

• You can also keep an eye on how may subscribers you have with the ‘Current Subscriptions' number.

Customise -

• Finally, on to the ‘CUSTOMISE' link. Here is where you upload your logo/corporate image (if you have one). This really personalises your store, by letting everyone know who you are. If you already have an image you wish to use, click on the ‘BROWSE' button to find it on your computer, and locate the image. Now allocate your store a name. Click in the ‘STOREFRONT NAME' field, type in your chosen name and click the ‘CHECK AVAILABILITY' button to ensure someone else is not already using that name. You can now add a ‘WELCOME NOTE' which is a line of text which will appear under your logo, for example ‘For the best online deals'.

• When you are happy, click the ‘SAVE' button.

 

Thats all there is to it... Follow these instructions and you will have set up your own CashCowUK.com StoreFront. All you need to do now is get on adding more listings to fill up your store.

• HINT - If you wish to sell your items online, I'd suggest you list your items as Auctions, with ‘Buy Now'. This allows your customers to both buy and pay you directly by PayPal.

• Finally, don't forget to renew your 'SOLD' listings to ensure they continue to appear on both CashCowUK.com, and in your store.
